Chess Camp
The goal of Chess Camp is to teach lower school and middle school boys the history, strategy and higher level techniques in the classical game of chess. Campers will play 3-5 games of chess per day with strategic goals employed in each game. Campers are expected to develop planning, strategic thinking and enjoy playing the game of chess. The class will also teach the applicable aspects of the game useful in real life. Breaks will entail outdoor play, snack, and leisure time. The week will conclude in a Chess Championship among the two best campers.
