On Thursday, May 23, 46 Western 8th graders and their families gathered in the Barn to celebrate the school’s 13th Baccalaureate Mass & Graduation.
Fr. John Boles, Western’s Chaplain celebrated the beautiful Mass.
At the Graduation, Headmaster, Mr. Jason Hebert spoke to graduates saying, “One word to describe the Class of 2024 is competitive, constantly going after things to win. Keep that spirit in life going, boys, directing it to what is true.”
Speaking about the image of the walking sticks, Jason said, “You are still on your journey stepping out from boyhood to manhood. Keep remembering all that happened during your boyhood here at Western… running into fences during Capture the Flag games, the bad haircuts, rope swing and falls out of trees and near disasters! Let those memories remind you of the friendships you made at Western. It’s the realist place I know and I’m proud of you all.”
