Chris Gosselin Wedding

From our first graduating class and our oldest Old Boy, Chris Gosselin (’12) married Christie Viktorin in a beautiful ceremony at Holy Family Catholic Church in Wharton, TX, on Saturday, June 1.

An impressive group of Old Boys from Chris’ Class of 2012 were among the groomsmen, including Best Man Nick O’Bar who gave a hilarious toast to the couple (PowerPoint included!). Groomsmen were Peter Hayden, Gabriel Vauthey, Elliot Bing, Thomas Peters, and Stephen Dunn.

The Gosselins are a founding WA family, and Richard and Adry couldn’t be happier to see the first marriage of their four sons. Next up is their eldest, Daniel, who will marry at the end of the year. Congratulations to Chris and Christie, and to the whole Gosselin family!

Back at the opening of Western in 2010, the Gosselin family were the original “cleaning company” during those early years, and Rich later tutored Western boys in Math, and Adry worked part-time in the office for many years. Chris’ two younger brothers, Tony (’14) and Andy (’16) followed him at Western to cement the Gosselin legacy.

At the moment when Western opened, Chris himself decided to repeat 7th grade just to be able to be part of the first group of boys to attend Western. Two years later, Chris graduated with his classmates in Western’s very first Class (2012).

Since then, Chris has led his Class as champions and fierce contenders at Pigskin Classic football games over the years, winning it in 2014, and again in 2017, when Chris was awarded MVP.

Since attending the University of Arkansas and graduating from the University of Houston in Construction Management, Chris founded his own company, featured in Old Boys News in February: Texan Landscape Group Article.
